CPHFW SS21 // Streetstyle Review

I couldn’t believe the fact of Copenhagen Fashion Week SS21 taking place with a lot of physical events and shows! Luckily the current pandemic didn’t hit Denmark that much but it was still unbelievable and pleasant at the same time. So let’s see what we got: I was covering streetstyles for some German fashion magazines and even had my first streetstyle print publication (scroll down for more impressions).

Here are my favorite styles of Scandinavian fashionistas:

Still can’t believe but somehow I finally made it into Textilwirtschaft – one of the most important business fashion magazines in Germany with several streetstyles. Back in the days my colleagues were joking about the fact that my pictures aren’t in the issue yet even when I was trying to reach out to the editors and was shooting for some season already… Well, things come at their right time.

I never gave up trying. Here is the result:

Beyond shootings I was glad to see the streetstyle photographers crowd from Paris and London again, had fun time cycling aroudnd thanks to I think the best summer weather they had so far in Copenhagen during summer. Those 3 intence days passed so quickly it barely feels like they even existed haha

Every time I travel (that doesn’t really happen much for work yet) I try to optimize my logistics, social skills and implement resting times as much as possible. What I’ve learned during this trip:
– living alone when traveling for work is the best – you can calm down and stay with your thoughts after a day well spent with so many people I usually never do
– comfort along the way is a must: always try to find the most coziest Airbnb or hotel
– conversations are fun. As I’m a Scorpio, I usually prefer to listen and stay in the shadow of an event to just watch – most enjoyable time for me and never like to be the center of attention. But this trip somehow made me talk a lot 🙂
– never take too much side work with you. It’s been a little bit too stressful for me but hey, learning

Hope you’re enjoying the view and get some inspiration for your next styling session or own look creations. Thank you Copenhagen, you was chaos but it worked out well!
See you next season💛
